Welcome to iSmile Dental in Langley. We’re accepting new patients and look forward to meeting you. This page covers what to bring, what to expect at your first visit, and how we make starting at a new dental office easy.

What to Bring to Your First Visit

Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete your patient intake forms, or fill them out online beforehand to save time.

Your First Appointment

  1. Welcome & intake. We review your medical history, medications, and concerns.
  2. Comprehensive exam. We check teeth, gums, jaw joints, and do a quick oral cancer screening.
  3. X-rays. Digital X-rays as needed, with the lowest radiation possible.
  4. Cleaning. If time allows on the first visit, otherwise scheduled separately.
  5. Discussion. We walk you through findings and recommendations. No pressure, no surprise add-ons. Written quotes for any treatment.

Plan on 60–90 minutes for a comprehensive new-patient visit.

Insurance & Payment

We direct-bill most major insurance providers (Pacific Blue Cross, Manulife, Sun Life, Great-West Life, and others). We’re also a CDCP-approved provider for eligible patients. For those without insurance, we offer monthly payment plans on larger treatments. We follow the BC Dental Fee Guide and provide written estimates upfront.

Languages We Speak

English, Tagalog/Filipino, and Arabic.

Special Needs & Anxiety

If you have dental anxiety, we offer sedation options — including nitrous oxide and oral sedation. Tell us when you book and we’ll make sure you’re comfortable. See our dental anxiety guide for more.
